All of the advantages of classroom training but without the travel!
With the current concerns surrounding face-to-face training during the pandemic, and with the need for people to still feel connected and valued, we have adapted the delivery of our courses. We are now able to offer instructor-led, interactive courses online, to both individuals or to multiple members of staff, wherever they may be working from, using Skype, WhatsApp or Zoom. IT courses may also be delivered on Microsoft Teams.
Research has shown time and time again how businesses that invest heavily in employee training tend to be the more successful and prosperous businesses. Online training means that this success can be maintained, despite these strange times.
Learning from home or the office
Online training is a great way for employees to keep in touch with other colleagues, work on something positive and constructive, have a focus other than their day-to-day tasks, and perhaps even have time to try things out before returning to the next session, when using the split sessions model.
Offering training when employees are scattered, working from different places, can bring them together with a common sense of purpose, improve productivity, build morale and job satisfaction and help them better respond to ongoing changes.
Our sessions are instructor-led training sessions, just as they would be in the classroom, but staff can join the training groups from their own homes or from the office, as long as they have a computer with microphone and camera. Sessions are fully interactive and will allow delegates to communicate both with the trainer and the other participants on the course.
Courses will be a near to the face-to-face delivered one as possible and will involve group and individual activities, just like standard classroom-based sessions.
The main difference is the way the time is divided up. For most people, a normal one-day course (six hours) is too long to stay focused on a screen, so we offer the option of two half day (three-hour) sessions or three two-hour sessions spread over three days (which can be consecutive or not, as you wish for your group).
